What you need to know if you're heading to Matchbox Twenty in New Plymouth

Christchurch was a hit, Taranaki, it's your turn!

Matchbox Twenty and special guests Goo Goo Dolls were incredible in front of the sold-out crowd at Christchurch’s Woolbrook Arena, now they're headed to New Plymouth's Bowl of Brooklands for their last New Zealand show tomorrow night.

They'll be joined by Christchurch’s lo-fi indie pop artist Pickle Darling as the special opener.

There will be three available entrances and four exits:

Brooklands (Entry and Exit) Access will be limited to pedestrians and authorised vehicles only. There is a bus drop-off point at the bottom of Brooklands Road.

Racecourse (Entrance and Exit) - Parking access off Coronation Avenue (access via the Parkside Motel and Apartments). There is a large parking area controlled by Wardens.

Kaimata Street (Entrance and Exit) - Enter via Kaimata Street. Taxi and Uber pick-up and drop-off points on Kaimata Street.

Dell Gate (Exit Only) - Not open for entry, but the gate will be open at the end of the night for exit through Pukekura Park towards the CBD.

PARKING AND TRANSPORT
Limited parking may be available to concert-goers attending the event, but public transport is heavily encouraged.

Brooklands Road between Victoria Road and Kaimata Street will be closed and have no access from 8.30am on 2 March.

Limited Mobility parking will also be available at the venue but you will need to book in advance - Vehicles must have a valid and appropriate Mobility Pass visible.

PERMITTED ITEMS
You can take the following items to Bowl of Brooklands:

Alcohol, prams/strollers, umbrellas and chairs are just some of the list of prohibited items.

FOOD/DRINK
A range of food and drinks are available to buy on-site.

Free water stations will also be available around the Arena to keep you hydrated.
