We can't wait to have her in NZ soon

Aussie comedian Celeste Barber spoke with The Breakfast Club ahead of returning to New Zealand for her Back-Up Dancer tour.

Known for her parody account on Instagram, wanting to normalise the way women are portrayed in the industry, Celeste revealed it has become so well-known that celebrities reach out to her, asking for their image to be re-done by her!

With a feature film on the horizon, a Netflix show in the works, and an upcoming comedy tour set to kick off in New Zealand, Celeste shared with the Breakfast Club that ‘a glass of wine keeps her grounded’.

On school holidays, Celeste explained “They're the best and worst because you don't have to get up and do lunches and there's no routine, but you do have children 4 inches from your face at any given time.

Celeste isn’t shy about her love for New Zealand. “I’m bringing the family over because it is our favourite place in the world. If I had my way, we would live there. Like I'm obsessed”

During her time in New Zealand, Celeste and her family plan to hit the slopes for skiing and make a trip to Gisborne to visit some relatives. "My husband's family is from Gisborne, so we'll definitely be popping in to say hello."

Lana from The Breakfast Club cheekily suggested, "Aussies often try to claim things, but we're more than happy to claim you” with Celeste confirming “Take me!"

We can’t wait to have the Aussie comedian back in New Zealand this August.
